Charting and Diagnostic Services
In order to insure success in our procedures, we take the necessary time to fully and thoroughly evaluate your present dental condition. We use the appropriate diagnostic tools such as X-rays, photographs and full periodontal exam. Our goal is to give our patients the necessary information and education so that they may enjoy a beautiful, healthy smile.

Regular Checkups
Most children and adults should get a regular dental cleaning and check up every six months. People at a greater risk for oral diseases should have dental check ups more than twice a year.

Cleaning
Good oral hygiene is important, not only for looks, but for general health as well. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a variety of dental and medical problems such as gum disease, infection, bone loss, heart disease, strokes and more. Regular check ups and cleanings can prevent these problems as well as provide you with good oral hygiene.

Night guards
Night guards are developed to address the needs of those who grind and/or clench their teeth. The main reason people clench and grind their teeth is due to stress. Clenching and grinding not only causes excessive wear on teeth, but daily stress (long term and short term) can cause the facial muscles to overwork and become sore.

Mouth guards
A mouth guard is designed to help buffer the mouth and teeth from trauma. Wearing a mouth guard is common in contact sports such as hockey, football, boxing and basketball, but a protective mouth guard can also be beneficial in non contact sports such as skiing, snowboarding and skateboarding.

Tooth Coloured Fillings Composite fillings that match the color of your natural teeth and have the same strength as natural tooth enamel. Porcelain Veneers Can be used to correct both color and shape problems, restorative work can fix your worn down, chipped, broken, misaligned, uneven, or irregularly shaped tooth. Bonding A tooth-colored resin material is applied and hardened with a special light for repairing minor imperfections such as chips and stains. It can also be used to fill gaps between the teeth.

Porcelain Veneers Thin shells of tooth-colored porcelain that are bonded onto the front side of teeth so to create a cosmetic improvement for a tooth. Porcelain veneers are routinely used by dentists as a way to make cosmetic changes for teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, or misaligned.

Endodontics The pulp, which contains the nerves and blood vessels that keep the tooth alive, is normally surrounded and protected by a layer of dentin covered by enamel above the gumline and cementum underneath. When a deep cavity or crack destroys these protective layers, the pulp is exposed to the bacteria in your mouth. A severe blow to the tooth can also damage the pulp. This can result in inflammation, infection and, eventually, necrosis (pulp death). Irritants may then escape from the end of the root and cause a diseased area (apical lesion) in the bone. Root canal treatment removes the damaged pulp and irritants. This allows the bone surrounding the root end to repair and heal.

Porcelain Crowns
A crown is a restoration that covers a tooth to restore it to its normal shape and size, strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Crowns are necessary when a tooth is generally broken down and fillings won't solve the problem. Crowns are also used to support a large filling when there isn't enough of the tooth remaining, attach a bridge, protect weak teeth from fracturing or to restore fractured teeth.

Bridges
A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and literally bridges the gap where one or more teeth may have been. The restoration can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and is bonded onto surrounding teeth for support.

Full and Partial Dentures
Complete dentures replace all the teeth, while a partial denture fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from changing position.
